Four board positions are open this year!
Though we don’t elect specific positions at the AGM, an interest and/or skills in juniors, player development, strategic planning, or membership concerns would certainly be an asset to the Board. Consider this the official call for letters of interest—send yours and/or any questions to Andrea Maxie at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday April 6th.*
*Due to a glich with the new Zurulu our league-wide email did not actually send. We’ve extended the deadline to allow for this mishap.
Anna Savoy, aged 6, shows us how eager they are to get on the field.
Please make sure you get your child(ren) signed up for our Juniors Recreational Program U9-U14, out in Bridgenorth.
If you’ve been a part of the Junior Program before, go to your Zurulu account to register. If you are already a player with a Zurulu account, but have not had a child partake in the program, you can add said child to your profile. If you are new to Juniors and the League itself, sign up is a one-two process. First you will need to make a Zurulu account. Once done, you can register your child for the program. Payment and waivers are done here too.
Or, come to our Juniors Registration Night, Thursday April 5th 6:00-7:30 at the Spiplex Dome.
Have problems? Questions? We’re happy to help. Contact Jocelyne Stone, our Operations Coordinator for help.
Better get on it. We’d hate to have any upset kids.
** Updates below. **
Folks, we’re very close to getting the Wednesday Summer League up and running. Here are a few details to whet your appetite…
Cost: We’ll be offering an early bird special for you keeners. From April 1 – 13: $75. After that, the price goes up to $100. Payment and registration will happen together.
Who: Anyone is welcome to play, regardless of skill level. We’ll do our best to accommodate partnered players for carpooling purposes. We’ll try to place junior players as well, with the usual provisos (designated responsible adult at the field).
How: Registration will occur individually, but players may indicate a carpool partner. Teams will be formed by draft in early May, and players will be notified of their teams before the first game.
Format: Seven on seven, cleats on grass. We’ll have some more details here once registration gets underway, but we’ll be delivering a full season of play.
So that’s a start. Got questions? Go after League Coordinator Tara MacLeod at email@example.com.
