Holly McEnaney – Holly Mac, was our Thursday Indoor Coordinator for many years and was on our Board. She’s busy!

Name: Holly Mac
Hometown: Whitby
Years Playing Ultimate: 17

Favourite thing about Peterborough Ultimate League: I joined to meet people and make friends, I gained a community that I am incredibly proud of and extremely grateful for.

Why did you start playing Ultimate? I like a challenge and it was something new.

Why do you still play Ultimate? I don’t. I retired due to old age and grumpiness this winter.

What’s your “signature play” or throw?I’m told that I’m sneaky…and chirpy. (Lauren thinks it’s Catching breakside endzone points because no one covers the woman on Zone D.)

Who’s another PUL player you love to play with, and why? There’s many. T, because she’s awesome. Lauren, because I love chirping my teammates and he gives me endless ammo. Mark Wallace, a competitive spirit and the ultimate motivator.

What’s a skill you’re working on right now? Acquiring more sneakers than my house will hold.

What do you do other than play Frisbee (e.g. work, fun, family)? I’m a physio, a sneaker head and I try to have a good time.

Mr. Lauren Falls – Member of our Board

Name: Lauren Falls
Hometown:PTBO
Years Playing Ultimate: 15

Favourite thing about Peterborough Ultimate League: The community, hands down they are the greatest people on earth.

Why do you still play Ultimate? The community, these are my people.

What’s your “signature play” or throw? Poking the bear

Who’s another PUL player you love to play with, and why? I like playing with new people every year and making new connections but I love the challenge of playing person D against someone who’s clearly a lot better than I am.  This happens often.

What’s a skill you’re working on right now? Making better choices? Is this a life thing or a frisbee thing?  Either way, making better choices.

Favourite tournament and why?: Every tournament is fun and something crazy always happens but our local tournaments are the best.  I just wish we could get more Peterborough tournaments happening and get more people playing them.
