Dear PUL Players,

I would like give a huge thanks to everyone for contributing to the "Food Drive Flip" this week at our winter league games. We raised approximately 700 items of food for Peterborough CIS and Kawartha Food Share. Our students, many of whom live without 3 squares a day, took home bags of food to get them through the holidays, we topped up our school food bank and breakfast program cupboard, and dropped boxes off at Kawartha Food Share. This awesome effort demonstrates true spirit and the strength of our ultimate community. You really pulled through! Thank you so much, and Happy Holidays.

Luky Corfu

Just a reminder that we'll be replacing the carbon flip with a food drive flip for the games on Dec. 14th and 17th. This is an initiative being headed up by Luky Corfu to help Kawartha Food Share and the adult-ed school, Peterborough CIS. PLEASE let's get some good representation and big donations of non-perishable food. Suggested items include: cereal, pasta, rice, granola bars, canned fruit and vegetables, sidekicks, kraft dinner, chili in a can, dried or canned soups, taco kits, peanut butter, jam, pasta sauce, salsa, cookies, oatmeal packets. Hygiene products like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc are also much needed. It doesn't take much to make a difference, but a real effort on this one can make a huge difference. Thanks all. And just who is in that team shot there?...
