In the fall of 2016, PUL approved a Gender Inclusion Policy. Simply stated, all players are encouraged to play ultimate in our league, regardless of their gender. Gender, the policy acknowledges, is non-binary, fluid, and self-determined.
PUL is an inclusive community, and this is an important part of protecting that inclusivity. All members of PUL are encouraged to check out the policy. The document lays out the need for gender inclusion, provides advice on how to deal respectfully with questions of gender identity, and resolves questions about on-field gender ratios.
